PCH Reports ZERO Positive Cases after Second Consecutive Rounds of Testing Residents
With the health and safety of our residents foremost in mind, Palolo Chinese Home reports zero positive COVID-19 results from the latest round of testing residents and staff.
PCH continues to work closely with the State of Hawaii’s Department of Health, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), and follows the guidance presented by the Centers of Disease Control (CDC) to help ensure the safety of all who live and work within our facility.
PCH continues facility-wide screening of all staff and visitors upon arrival to its campus. This includes temperature checks, screening of COVID-19 symptoms, and brief contact tracing questions to determine any potential risk of exposure, practicing social distancing, and performing frequent hand hygiene. PCH is being proactive on all levels ensuring that the home is kept clean and sanitized (table tops, chairs, door handles, elevators, etc.) at all times.
