Zero Positive COVID-19 Cases.  ARCH Staff Cleared on 9/23/20

Aloha Residents of Palolo Chinese Home:

We are pleased to report that Palolo Chinese Home is clear of all COVID-19 infections among residents. 

The Adult Residential Care Home staff who tested positive for COVID-19 on September 13, is also cleared.

PCH will be sharing any updates on the PCH hotline (808) 748-4906 and on our website at www.palolohome.org.

Palolo Chinese Home implements the following strict mitigation strategies:

  • Only essential employees are reporting for work.
  • PCH continues facility-wide screening of all staff and visitors upon arrival to its campus.  This includes temperature checks, screening of COVID-19 symptoms, and brief contact tracing questions to determine any potential risk of exposure.
  • We continue to monitor our residents for any signs or symptoms of any illness or changes in their health condition
  • All employees have been required to wear face masks since March and face shields since August.

We know this is a difficult time for everyone. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.
