Admissions Nurse

Full Time

Completes day to day tasks regarding admission, discharge, and/or transfer of residents that may require a licensed nurse professional such as transcribing physician’s orders, and reviewing resident medical information pre and post admission in accordance with local, state and federal standards and regulations, as well as established facility policies and procedures.

Licensed Nurse (RN/LPN)

Part Time, Full Time, On Call Positions Available

Licensed Nurse will provide direct resident care, treatments, and medication administration. This includes, but not limited to, ongoing assessments, coordinating and documenting plans of care, implementing the resident’s care plan, and effective and timely communication. Also, functions as the immediate coordinator of an assigned unit (serves as supervisor of the unit, in the absence of the Charge Nurse), coordinating the work of the Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA’s).

Certified Nurse Aides

Part Time, Full Time, On Call Positions Available

Responsible for assisting resident with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, eating, toileting, mobility, etc. Provides simple technical nursing services under the direction and supervision of the licensed nurses (RN and/or LPN).

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteers at Palolo Chinese Home play a vital role in providing quality services to our residents. If you have the desire to work with frail, older adults and disabled persons, you can help make a difference by becoming a volunteer. Duties range from clerical support to companionship activities with our residents and day care participants. Whether volunteering as an individual or as a group, Palolo Chinese Home welcomes all interested persons.

Please come to the Human Resource Office (Upper Campus white house) to fill out an application form – Monday thru Friday – 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
