At this time, all volunteers must be fully vaccinated before they can begin volunteering. Other requirements may be involved, depending on type of volunteer opportunity and hours per week.
Activities Volunteers
Spend some time with our residents and Activities staff. Volunteers can help with providing entertainment or engaging interactions. If you have a special activity in mind that you’d like to conduct, let us know! Other possible volunteer opportunities may include assisting with family visits, one-on-one social interactions, and haircuts.
Meals-To-Go Volunteers
Do you like to drive? Help support your neighborhood kupuna by volunteering with our Meals-To-Go program. Take a few deliveries or just one. Make a delivery on your way home, or set some time aside in the neighborhood.
Clerical/Admin Volunteers
Would you like to volunteer in one of our offices? Volunteers can assist with basic filing, visitor check ins, and other light clerical tasks.
Event Volunteers
Be part of the party! Palolo Chinese Home hosts several events each year. From Chinese New Year to our Annual Golf Tournament, volunteers are always welcome.
